It isn’t multiplayer if it’s offline, and vice-versa – If it’s offline, it isn’t multiplayer. If you mean things such as Split Screen or LAN, the issue now is that split screen is impractical and useless for a game that 1) your position matters, and 2) you need to see as much as you can.
